Al Wistert (Albert Alexander Wistert) was born on December 28, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Foreman (Chicago, IL), Wistert attended the University of Michigan. Wistert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia/Pittsburgh over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was Al Wistert's best year.
