Joe Kuharich (Joseph Lawrence Kuharich) was born on April 14, 1917 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at James Whitcomb Riley (South Bend, IN), Kuharich attended the University of Notre Dame. Kuharich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1941 was Joe Kuharich's best year.
